What happens during brow lift surgery?

Unlike older techniques, which involve a long incision from ear to ear across the top of the head, Dr.Horowitz uses the endoscope to perform a brow lift. This allows Dr. Horowitz to perform the surgery through three to five small incisions, all of which are hidden beyond the hairline, so there are no visible scars.


Brow lifts are often combined with other facial procedures, including eyelid surgery and facelifts. These are complimentary procedures that can complete and harmonize your facial rejuvenation. Botox and fillers can add the finishing touch to complete your makeover.

How long does it take to recover from a brow lift?

Recovery times will vary by person, taking as little as ten days or up to a month. Keeping your head elevated is generally advised as well as the use of cold packs in order to keep any swelling down. Dr. Horowitz will prescribe a pain medication to alleviate any pain or discomfort.
