Tip Tuesday - Quitting Smoking Before Surgery.

When it comes to getting good results from surgery, there are plenty of things in your control, and some that aren’t. One of the most important factors with any type of surgery is the cessation of smoking at least four weeks before your procedure.

A new study shows just how impactful quitting smoking pre-surgery is on smokers: Those who stop smoking before surgery are more likely to quit smoking altogether, or at least smoke less.

While we know the downsides to smoking, getting plastic surgery just may be the catalyst you need to quit the habit once and for all.
